Now a national chain, the first McCormick's opened right here in downtown Portland. These days they have several locations around town, and they all provide a delicious seafood dinner in a beautiful, classic setting. I particularly enjoy nestling into the small, "train-style" oak-and-brass booths at the downtown location, but the view of the Willamette at Harborside is beautiful as well. The menu is printed new each afternoon and evening, reflecting the freshest catches and daily specials. In addition to more involved preparations, any fish in the house can be ordered grilled plain with a dash of lemon, to showcase its fresh flavor. -Emily
