JoPa is Italian-inspired Northwest cooking at very reasonable prices. The staff are young (many high-school or college-age waitpeople), and the atmostphere is comfortable and family-friendly without feeling like a Chuck-E-Cheese.

Menu items are simple but made with excellent, high-quality ingredients. A personal favorite of mine are their made-to-order individual pizzas, which come on thin, fresh, slighly crisped crusts with your personal selection of lovely toppings. I usually opt for some combination of local goat cheese, artichoke hearts and sun-dried tomatoes.

Pasta dishes are equally fresh and elegant, and I am told that meat courses don't disappoint, either. Portions are generous, though not overwhelming. Overall, a great place to unwind while sampling some delicious, nutritious cuisine. -Emily
