Serious breakfasts. I'm not someone who tends to regard cocktails as a morning thing, but Genie's always makes me feel I should lead the sort of life in which alcohol in the morning (or breakfast in the afternoon) were a regular occurrence. The potatoes are fabulous and the various forms of eggs benedict are regularly lovely. Come on in, and, if there's a line (a not uncommon eventuality) help yourself to coffee from the airpots in the front.

Often the same sets of ingredients will show up in a scramble, an omelet and a benedict. Just choose whichever suites your mood. Don't forget to look at the specials on the board. - David
